Conventions about This Manual

This Owner's Manual largely describes how to control the
MC-DV250 using the included RC-965 remote control unit.
The duplicate buttons on the MC-DV250 provide the same
functions.

The types of functions and operations that can be used for a
particular disc vary depending on the features of that disc. In
some cases, these functions and operations may differ from
the descriptions given in this Owner's Manual. In this event,
follow the instructions given on the screen. This Owner's
Manual only covers basic disc operations.

For some operations, the PROHIBIT icon "
" may appear on
the screen. This indicates that the operation described in this
Owner's Manual is not permitted for the current disc.

The drawings about the TV screen and front panel display
used in this Owner's Manual are purely for the purposes of
explanation. The actual displays may differ slightly from what
are shown here.
Read this before operation
<
As the unit may become warm during operation, always leave
sufficient space above the unit for ventilation.
The ventilation holes should not be covered. Make sure there
is at least 50 cm of space above and at least 10 cm of space
on each side of the unit. Do NOT place anything on top of the
unit.

The unit has ventilation holes on the bottom, therefore do not
set it on thick carpets or cushions.
<
The voltage supplied to the unit should match the voltage as
printed on the rear panel. If you are in any doubt regarding
this matter, consult an electrician.

Choose the installation location of your unit carefully. Avoid
placing it in direct sunlight or close to a source of heat. Also
avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, heat,
cold or moisture.

Do not place the unit on the amplifier/receiver.

L'appareil peut devenir chaude pendant l'opération c'est
pourquoi vous devez laisser assez d'espace au­dessus de
l'appareil pour la ventilation.
Les trous de ventilation ne doivent pas être couverts. Assurez-
vous qu'il y ait un espace d'au moins 50 cm au-dessus de
l'appareil et un espace d'au moins 10 cm de chaque côté de
l'appareil. NE placez RIEN sur l'appareil.

Des ouvertures permettant la ventilation se trouvent sous
l'unité, par conséquent, ne la placez pas sur une moquette
épaisse ou sur des coussins.

La tension d'alimentation utilisée doit être identique à la
tension indiquée à l'arrière de l'appareil. En cas de doute,
n'hésitez pas à consulter un électricien.

Choisir soigneusement l'endroit où vous installerez l'appareil.
Eviter de le placer dans un endroit exposé aux rayons directs
du soleil ou à proximité d'une source de chaleur. Eviter
également les endroits exposés aux vibrations et à la
poussière, à la chaleur, au froid et à l'humidité.

Ne pas placer l'appareil sur l'amplificateur ou le récepteur.

Convenciones acerca de este manual

Este manual del usuario describe ampliamente la forma de
controlar el MC-DV250 mediante el mando a distancia
RC-965 incluido. Los botones correspondientes de la unidad
MC-DV250 realizan las mismas funciones.

Las funciones y operaciones aplicables a un disco concreto
variarán dependiendo de las características de dicho disco. En
algunos casos, estas funciones y operaciones pueden diferir de
las descripciones ofrecidas en este manual de uso. En tal caso,
siga las instrucciones de la pantalla. En este manual de uso
únicamente se explican las operaciones básicas de disco.

Con algunas operaciones, es posible que aparezca el icono de
prohibición "
" en la pantalla. Significa que la operación
descrita en este manual no está permitida para el disco actual.

Las ilustraciones referentes a la pantalla del TV y al panel
frontal de la unidad poseen exclusivamente un carácter
informativo. En la práctica podrían diferir ligeramente de las
mostradas en el manual.

Dado que la unidad puede calentarse mientras se encuentra
en funcionamiento, siempre deje suficiente espacio en la parte
superior para que se ventile. Los orificios de ventilación no
deben cubrirse. Asegúrese de que haya al menos 50 cm de
espacio en la parte superior y 10 cm de espacio a cada lado de
la unidad. NO coloque nada encima de la unidad.

La unidad posee orificios de ventilación en la parte inferior.
Por lo tanto, no la coloque sobre almohadones o tapetes
gruesos.

La tensión suministrada a la unidad deberá coincidir con el
valor indicado en el panel posterior. En caso de duda, consulte
a un electricista.

Elija cuidadosamente el emplazamiento de la unidad. Evite los
lugares expuestos a la luz solar directa, fuentes de calor,
vibraciones, polvo, temperaturas extremas o humedad.

No coloque la unidad encima del amplificador/receptor.
