1. REASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY PRECAUTIONS
· The grilles are attached to the cabinet by the magnets.
Detach by pulling it toward you.
· The base is attached to the cabinet by 7 external screws.
To detach it, unfasten those screws.
· The HPF network is attached to the base by 4 internal
screws. When detaching it, detach the part with following
order.
1. Disconnect wire on the coaxial unit.
2. Unfasten 4 screws on the backside of the midrange
chamber.
3. Detach the base from the cabinet.
4. Disconnect the wire on the input terminal.
5. Unfasten 4 screws on HPF network.
Attach the parts in reverse order, when attaching the
network.
· LPF network is attached to the brace in the cabinet by 4
internal screws. When detaching the LPF network, detach
the parts with following order.
1. Disconnect the wire on the woofer.
2. Detach the base from the cabinet.
3. Disconnect the wire on the input terminal.
4. Unfasten 4 screws on the LPF network.
Attach the parts in reverse order, when attaching the
network.
· All speaker unit are covered by trim rings attached by
double-faced tape. When detaching the driver, detach the
trim ring first. To detach it, insert the minus screwdriver in
the gap between the trim ring and the speaker frame, and
then peel off the trim ring slowly. Be careful not to damage
the trim ring.
· The super-tweeter is attached to the baffle by 4 external
screws, covered by the trim ring. To detach it, remove
the trim ring, and then unfasten those screws. When re-
attaching it, face its terminal downward.
· The mid-tweeter coaxial unit is attached to the baffle by 4
ex-ternal screws, covered by the trim ring.
To detach it, remove the trim ring and then unfasten those
screws. When re-attaching it, face the midrang terminal
downward.
· The woofers are attached to the baffle by 6 external
screws, covered by the trim ring.
To detach it, remove the trim ring and then unfasten those
screws. When re-attaching it, face its terminal downward.
