· Whenextendingtheignition,battery,orgroundwires,make
suretouseautomotive-gradewiresorotherwireswitha
0.75mm2(AWG18)ormoretopreventwiredeteriorationand
damagetotheworecoating.
· Topreventashortcircuit,neverputorleaveanymetallicobjects
(suchascoinsormetaltools)insidethespeaker.
· Intheeventtheunitgeneratessmokeorabnormalsmell,im-
mediatelyswitchthepowerOFF.Afterthis,pleasecontactyour
dealerornearestservicestationassoonaspossible.
POWER OFF!
· Connecttheilluminationlamp-equippedspeakerstoDC12V,
negativeground.
· Donotattempttoopenormodifytheunit,forthiscouldcause
firehazardormalfunction.
· Aftertakingtheunitoutofthepolyethylenebag,besuretodis-
poseofthepolyethylenebagoutofthereachofchildren.Oth-
erwise,theymayplaywiththebag,whichcouldcausehazardof
suffocation.
CAUTION
· Installationandwiringoftheproductrequiresexpertskilland
experience.Toensuresafety,besuretohaveyourdealeror
specialistperformtheinstallationandwiring.
· Donotinstallthespeakerinaspotexposedtodirectsunlightor
excessiveheatorhumidity.
· Donotinstallthespeakersinlocationswhichmaybesubjectto
waterormoisture.
· Donotinstallthespeakersinunstablelocationsorlocations
subjecttodust.
· Ifthefuseblows,aftercheckingtoseeifthewiringcordhas
shorted,besuretoreplacewiththestipulatedsize(amperage)
fuseasdisplayedonthefusebox.

Toreplacethefuse,refertothevehicleinstructionmanual.
· Topreventashortcircuitwhenreplacingafuse,disconnectthe
wiringharnessatfirst.
· Donotusegasoline,naphtha,oranytypeofsolventtocleanthe
speaker.Cleanbywipingwithasoft,drycloth.
· Connectthespeakerwirestoappropriatespeakerconnectors
separately.Sharingthenegativewireofthespeakerorground-
ingspeakerwirestothemetalbodyofthecarcancausethis
unittofail.
· DonotconnectcablesandleadstobothRCAcordinputjacks
andthespeakerinputterminalssimultaneously,forthismay
causemalfunctionordamage.
· Whenmakingaholeunderaseat,insidethetrunk,orsome-
whereelseinthevehicle,checkthatthereisnothinghazardous
ontheoppositesidesuchasagasolinetank,brakepipe;orwir-
ingharness,andbecarefulnottocausescratchesorotherdam-
age.
· Forgroundwiremounting,donotfastenthewiretoanairbag,
steeringorbrakelinesystemorothercriticalsafetyunitboltsor
nut.

· Whenmounting,besuretomountinaplacethatwillnotinter-
ferewithdrivingorbedangeroustopassengersduringsudden
brakingetc.

· Afterinstallingtheunit,checktomakesurethatelectricalequip-
mentsuchasthebrakelamps,turnsignallampsandwindshield
wipersoperatenormally.
Information on Disposal of Old Electrical

Products with the symbol (crossed-out
wheeled bin) cannot be disposed as house-
hold waste.
Old electrical and electronic equipment should be
recycled at a facility capable of handling these items
and their waste by products.
Contact your local authority for details in locating a
recycle facility nearest to you.

serve resources whilst preventing detrimental effects
